After trying to file on with a different app for hours yesterday I gave up and quit. Today I woke determined to grind it out and tried tax act. My only complaint was I didnt start here. Very easy and smooth. The camera entry doesnt work right for me but its probably my old iphone 4. This app is so smooth I entered the stuff manually at the same speed.

Very bad app I couldnt even get it to launch anything but a blue screen.

Maybe an issue with iOS 8.3, but randomly signs out while using.

I spent over an hour on filing. The app took the photo of my W2, and got most info correct, but some it wouldnt detect. Using an iPhone 6+, Id think either my W2 copy was a bit off, or their recognition tech needs a bit of refinement. I ended up inputting my info manually, but not a major problem. Some fields were glitchy when entering information. Sometimes it wouldnt allow input, but Id click on done, and go back a page, and go forward and then click on field, and voila! It would work. All in all, very good and solid app/service!! Id definitely recommend it, AND being free makes it better. This was my first time using this app. Last year I used a major competitors app (just use your INTUITion on who it might be), and honestly, it worked great, but cost me almost $30, and I could live with it. But they changed their app, and its much more expensive now, and people are saying much more difficult to use.

Doesnt support 1099-Misc or self employment
